Tiramisu (No cheese version): Easy happy treat!

I have a mood for Tiramisu, and you may know that mine have to loaded with Coffee liqueur, haha.




But I didn't want to go out to buy anything, suddenly I saw my leftover chocolate sponge cake on the counter of my kitchen and Voila, I was ready.
I know that you might want to say that Tiramisu needs to have some cheese in the ingredient list but for me it's about boozy and creamy texture, because with these characters I'm ready to pick it up as the name "Tiramisu" suggests.
Because I don't have any problem with alcohol so I put Coffee liqueur in anywhere that I can, but if you don't drink, replace some of them with coffee  is OK. (You may need to add more sugar as Coffee liqueur has lightly sweet taste).
This recipe will be able to serve 2 hungry people or 2-3 people (as after meal dessert), you can make the sponge by yourself, or buy it, or use ladyfinger biscuits instead. 
Refrigerate the Tiramisu until fully set and the cocoa powder on top starts to moisten as it will prevent you from couching from the dryness of the cocoa powder ^^.

Tiramisu 
(No cheese version) 
Serve 2


.................................. Chocolate Sponge cake (you can make it by yourself, or buying it ^^)
Syrup
 50 ml ....................... Water
1 1/2tsp ..................... Instant coffee granules
1Tbsp ........................ Coffee liqueur
Cream
170ml ........................ Whipping cream
2Tbsp ........................ Coffee liqueur
30g ............................ Icing sugar
................................... Cocoa powder for sprinkle over the Tiramisu




 You can use your favourite brand of coffee liqueur.


 Mix water, instant coffee granules and coffee liqueur together.


 Cut the sponge into 4 pieces (the size of the sponge will depend on the size of your glass).


 Put 1 piece of the sponge into each glass,  and soak Chocolate Sponge cake with coffee syrup.


 Pour the whipping cream, coffee liqueur and icing sugar into a bowl.


 Whip until firm peaks formed.


 Spoon whipped cream into each glass, and place another piece of sponge over the whipped cream.
Soak Chocolate Sponge cake with coffee syrup.


Spoon the whipped cream over the sponge and sprinkle the top with cocoa powder.
Refrigerate until set before serving.
